First time home buyers, John and Jen, were in the market to buy a Lakeview condo that was perfect for entertaining, but also provided them ample space to grow into over the coming years.  They also wanted to find that perfect place as soon as possible.  Fortunately, along with being fun and energetic, they knew what to look for in a new home, and were committed to the process to find it – which we did after two marathon days of scheduled showings throughout Lakeview, Wrigleyville and Southport.

Growing up in Wisconsin, my client, John, spent a great deal of his summers at Camp Minikani; first as a camper, then as a counselor, and – finally – as a member of the alumni board, where he remains heavily involved to this day.

If you’ve ever experienced Summer Camp, you know it’s chance for kids to be kids, build relationships that can last a lifetime, and learn about the natural world around them.  Mixed in is the opportunity to take on new outdoor challenges and experiences like camping, building fires, canoeing, zip-lining, and more.

These experiences can be so enriching for kids, and the Camp Minikani alumni community is active in fundraising to help ensure these experiences can continue.  These funds go to support anything from daily maintenance all the way to contributing to a fund to provide underprivileged, inner-city youth that same magical camp experience.

Thank you, John and Jen, for choosing to work with me to find your gorgeous Lakeview home.  Because of this home purchase, I’m excited to share that this most recent Real Estate with Purpose donation will sponsor a deserving kid for two weeks of fun and adventure at Camp Minikani.
